In the 2025-26 season, Tyler Nickel started all 36 games for Vanderbilt and averaged 13.5 points, 3.3 rebounds and 1.2 assists while shooting 44.5% from the field, 40.0% from three and 84.7% at the line.[3][5][13] His calling card is simple and loud: he stretches defenses with volume shooting, can create enough off the bounce to punish closeouts, and has steadily added production, including a career-high 30-point game and improved all-around activity on the glass and defensively.[3][11][13]
