Explosive Ex-Ole Miss RB with Big-Play Juice, Now Jets Depth Piece
Zach Evans, the 24-year-old former 6th-round Rams pick (2023, No. 215), showcases elite college burst—7.7 YPC (415 yards, 4 TDs) as TCU freshman in 2020 and 7.0 YPC (648 yards, 5 TDs) in 2021—plus elusiveness and speed to threaten long gains, per WalterFootball scouting. A 5-star HS recruit turned Ole Miss transfer, his instinctive vision and three-down potential shine, though limited NFL snaps (FA status 2025) highlight depth role. Ideal for teams needing a dynamic change-of-pace back with star upside if given opportunity.
