Samford Freshman OL Carson Donovan: Raw Powerhouse with Proven HS Pedigree
Carson Donovan, a 6-2, 295-lb freshman offensive lineman for the Samford Bulldogs, redshirted in 2024 with no college stats yet but brings championship DNA from leading Evangel Christian to back-to-back ACSC state titles in Alabama, playing both ways with relentless intensity.[7][1] His differentiator is that explosive HS tape showcasing mauler strength and football IQ beyond his years—ideal for teams needing gritty, developmental depth on the interior line. No injury flags; he's a high-upside fit for run-heavy schemes valuing toughness over polish.[7]
