Richmond’s high-volume shot-maker and senior leader
Rachael Bilney was a proven guard for Richmond, finishing her career with 1,073 points and a reputation as a reliable perimeter threat; as a redshirt senior in 2012-13 she started all 32 games, averaged 11.3 points, and led the Spiders in minutes while also contributing 3.3 rebounds, 2.0 assists, and 1.2 steals per game.[1] Her differentiator was shot-making gravity—she hit 42% from three in the 2011-12 season and owned Richmond’s single-game 3-point record before it was later broken—making her valuable as a floor-spacer who can handle heavy minutes and guard well enough to stay on the floor.[3][4]
