Landon Peterson is a 6-foot-6, 295-pound veteran offensive lineman who started 10 games for North Texas in 2024 and earned honorable mention All-AAC recognition, a strong sign he was more than just a warm body at tackle.[1][13] He helped anchor a Mean Green offense that finished third nationally in total offense and sixth in FBS passing offense in 2024, and his prior Texas Tech résumé includes 35 career games with 9 starts plus a reported 97.6 pass-blocking efficiency in 2022.[1] What makes him appealing is the combo of experience, size, and lineup flexibility; he was also named a team captain, which hints at trust, leadership, and buy-in.[5][14]
