Saint Joseph's Sophomore LHP Dominating with Strikeout Flair in 2026
Saint Joseph's sophomore Matt Fitzgibbon has been a rotation standout in the 2026 season, posting a sharp 2.63 ERA over 27.1 innings with 40 strikeouts against just 15 walks in FCBL Summer 2025 for Nashua Silver Knights, and current D1 stats showing 31 K's in a 5.01 ERA campaign (2-1 record). This lanky 6'1" lefty from Yonkers excels with pinpoint control and swing-and-miss stuff, backed by a disciplined in-season training regimen emphasizing explosive rotational power and shoulder mobility—perfect for teams seeking a high-upside arm with pro potential who stays fresh and durable.
