Rob Fiscalini III brings veteran special-teams grit and safety depth to San Jose State
Rob Fiscalini III entered San Jose State as a 5-foot-11, 215-pound safety and senior who had already earned a reputation for toughness, versatility, and reliability after playing 11 games in 2012, mostly on special teams, while also seeing snaps at reserve safety. His background is the selling point: a former Foothill College standout and Valley Christian product who piled up 126 tackles and 12 sacks as a high-school senior, he fits the mold of a hard-nosed, experienced defender who can help a roster with steady depth, physicality, and downhill intent rather than flashy stat-sheet fireworks.
