Callie Fitzpatrick adds speed, local pedigree and upside to Long Beach State’s outfield
Callie Fitzpatrick is a redshirt freshman outfielder for Long Beach State in the 2026 season, after sitting out 2025; she arrived from Los Alamitos HS, where she earned first-team all-league honors and Sunset League offensive player of the year as a senior. Her appeal is the blend of athletic upside and familiarity with the program: she’s a local Long Beach product, comes from a softball family, and already has strong competitive chops. She looks like a fit for teams wanting a developmental outfielder with range, energy and a high-intensity ceiling.
