West Virginia’s veteran OL anchor with Power-4 size and JUCO grit
Sylvester Townes is a **redshirt senior offensive lineman** at West Virginia who brings rare tackle-sized length and mass at **6-6, 310** after developing at **Coahoma CC** and Germantown HS.[4] He stands out more for his **frame, experience, and physical upside** than for stat-line production, which is typical for an offensive lineman, and his JUCO path suggests a player who had to earn every step of his rise.[1][4] If you need a mature, big-bodied protector who can help stabilize the line, Townes looks like a reasonable fit; the main question is whether his game translates into reliable Power-4 consistency.[3][4]
