Former Elon guard with a compact, scorer-first résumé
Gary Pope is a former Elon Phoenix guard whose profile is built around perimeter scoring and game-ready maturity rather than flashy volume; Elon listed him as a five-year varsity starter at Lawrenceville School who averaged 18.0 points per game and earned top prep recognition, while RealGM lists him at 6-foot-0 and 202 pounds.[3][2] He stands out more for steady, experienced guard play and competitive background than for current college production, since publicly available sources indicate he is no longer active in NCAA Division I basketball.[1]
