FIU’s Anthony Anderson: Low-Volume Guard with a Defensive Edge
Anthony Anderson is a role-style guard for FIU whose value is less about box-score fireworks and more about steady, low-mistake play; in the available career stats, his scoring and playmaking numbers are modest, which suggests a player best used for structure, spacing, and effort possessions rather than high-usage creation.[1][2] What makes him interesting is the fit question: if your team needs a guard who can stay within a system, compete on the margins, and accept a supporting role, Anderson profiles as a usable complementary piece rather than a headline scorer.[1][2]
