Brandon Williams is ECU’s tackling engine with postseason-caliber buzz
In the 2024 season, Brandon Williams stood fifth on East Carolina with 69 tackles, and ECU’s own bio says his rapid rise on the depth chart put him in position to start at inside linebacker with postseason-conference-honors potential. He projects as a physical, instinctive “buck” linebacker who brings reliable production, downhill punch, and steady growth rather than flashy chaos. That makes him a strong fit for a defense wanting a tough, high-motor tone-setter in the middle.
