Nicole Rowe brought toughness and inside-out skill to Portland's frontcourt
Nicole Rowe entered Portland as a highly decorated Oregon 2A standout, owning Gold Beach High School career records for points (1,478), rebounds (624) and three-pointers (116) before giving the Pilots a physical, versatile forward with scoring touch and board work. In the 2005-06 season, she was efficient enough to average 6.7 points, 3.9 rebounds and 1.9 assists while shooting .495 from the field and .383 from three, and she also overcame a season cut short by a torn meniscus in her left knee. If you want a forward who can score in different ways and compete with grit, Rowe fits.
