Jesse Hayes is a high-motor Wisconsin linebacker with proven backfield disruption
Hayes brings value as a physical, assignment-sound linebacker/edge type who has already shown he can create pressure, posting 4 solo tackles and 1.5 sacks in ESPN’s listed career stats. He also has a broader college profile as a weak-side defensive end recruit from Cincinnati, which suggests versatility and a hybrid skill set rather than a one-note role. Why care: he projects as a fit for teams that want toughness, leverage, and disruptive playmaking on defense, especially in systems that reward versatility and effort over pure star power.
