Dayton's Gritty Senior Forward from the 2015-16 Era
Bobby Wehrli, a 6-6 forward for the Dayton Flyers, wrapped up his college career in 2015-16 with solid bench contributions, playing in 22 games while averaging 0.9 points and 0.8 rebounds—peaking at a career-high 6 boards and 26 minutes in a gritty road win at Saint Louis. Nominated for the Presidential Scholar-Athlete Award and an Atlantic 10 Commissioner's Honor Roll member, his hustle, rebounding tenacity, and academic excellence made him a reliable role player on a competitive Flyers squad; now years post-graduation, he's a low-risk, high-character fit for pro or overseas teams valuing intangibles over flash.
