Marcellus Marshall brings veteran muscle and tackle-guard versatility to Minnesota’s line
Marshall is a sixth-year veteran with massive experience at Kent State, UCF, and Minnesota, and he entered the 2025 season as the Gophers’ most seasoned offensive lineman with nearly 2,500 career snaps. His calling card is flexibility—he has played both guard spots and tackle, and his size (about 6-6, 330) gives Minnesota a physical, plug-and-play option up front. The flip side: he’s a heavy interior lineman whose value is more about stability, toughness, and know-how than flashy metrics, so he fits best for a team that wants an experienced tone-setter in the trenches.
