Blue-collar forward with a spark of upside
In the 2019-20 season, Corey Sato gave UIW a low-usage but intriguing frontcourt presence, averaging 1.7 points and 1.5 rebounds in 8.7 minutes per game while shooting 34.5% from the field and 23.5% from three; he also flashed a breakout ceiling with a 12-point, 7-rebound, 1-block game against Trinity in December 2019. The appeal here is motor and role-fit: a forward who can defend, rebound, and do the unglamorous stuff, but who also needs offensive polish to become more than a situational piece.
