Dartez Jacobs brings veteran safety range, physicality, and proven playmaking
Jacobs is a seasoned Georgia State safety whose best traits are toughness, range, and ball production: in 2015 he played all 13 games for the Panthers and earlier posted a 2014 season with 28 tackles, 2 tackles for loss, and a sack, then later emerged as a high-impact defender in Europe with 92 tackles and 4 interceptions in 2018. He fits a team that wants an experienced, assignment-sound defensive back who can tackle in space, create turnovers, and bring leadership; his profile also suggests resilience after a career slowed by post-concussion recovery.
