compact, old-school ECU fullback with freshman upside
Trey Eason is a 2026 freshman fullback at East Carolina, listed at 5-7 and 218 pounds, and his appeal starts with that low-center-of-gravity, throwback build that usually translates to leverage, toughness, and reliable lead-blocking in a run game. The big differentiator is fit: a true FB is a niche role, but for a team that wants a physical tone-setter, he profiles as a sturdy blue-collar piece rather than a stat-sheet star. The available public info doesn’t show a major injury history or headline-grabbing production, so the care factor is more about projection, blocking presence, and developmental value than flash.
