Loni Gipson brings uncommon two-sport upside to Oglethorpe’s backcourt
Loni Gipson is a 5'6" freshman guard for Oglethorpe who arrives with a rare blend of basketball grit and elite track explosiveness, including a 2025 Georgia 6A high jump state title and a history of all-region basketball recognition. Her profile suggests a high-motor, competitive athlete with upside that goes beyond box-score numbers: disciplined, academically driven, and clearly wired for big moments. She looks like the kind of guard who can add energy, versatility, and a winning edge—especially for a team that values toughness, work ethic, and athleticism.
