Clayvonjae Wright brings senior-pop and timely power to Alcorn State’s outfield mix
In the 2026 season, Clayvonjae Wright has been a compact left-handed bat for Alcorn State, hitting .182 with a .679 OPS and flashing real run-production upside with 5 RBI, a home run, and a double in limited action; he’s also shown he can change a game with the long ball, including a solo homer vs. No. 25 Ole Miss and another earlier blast against Grambling State. At 5-foot-8 and 207 pounds, he looks like a thick, physical corner-type hitter who can supply energy and pop, making him an intriguing fit for teams wanting a veteran, bench-to-starter style bat with some sneaky thump.
