Experienced Northwestern depth wideout with academic polish and limited recent game action
Preston Bacon is a 6-foot-2, 200-pound Northwestern receiver whose biggest calling card is experience and reliability in the program, not flashy stat production; Northwestern listed him as a senior in 2023, noted he played five games in 2022, appeared in four in 2021, and did not see game action in 2023 while earning Academic All-Big Ten recognition. In other words, he looks like a smart, program-trusted depth piece rather than a featured playmaker right now. If your team values size, maturity, and a low-drama fit, Bacon checks those boxes.
