Jessica Barrios brings disruptive guard defense and dependable minutes for App State
Barrios is a compact, disruptive guard who has shown real value as a defensive spark plug, with a career-best eight points and four steals in App State’s 2012-13 roster record and a profile built around activity, pressure, and toughness. Her ESPN line from that season shows modest scoring but steady playmaking (1.5 assists per game), suggesting a connector who can help a team win possessions more than box-score glamour. She fits best as a gritty role guard who can change tempo, defend hard, and add intensity in short bursts.
