Tyler Horner brings middle-order thump and veteran polish to Seattle U
In the 2026 season, Tyler Horner has been a steady middle-order presence for Seattle U, hitting .264 with 6 home runs, 11 doubles, 37 RBI and an OPS around .714 while also giving the Redhawks flexibility as a catcher and corner infielder. What makes him intriguing is the proven pedigree: he arrived after a standout Oregon Tech run as a first-team All-American in 2024 and second-team All-American in 2025, plus all-time school records for power and production. Seattle U’s coach called him a major pickup for his experience behind the plate and bat-to-ball impact.
