Reliable Marquette walk-on with practice-only value, not a game-night stat line
Mike Lelito was a 6-foot-5 Marquette guard and redshirt sophomore walk-on whose college impact came more from practice energy, professionalism, and keeping teammates sharp than from box-score production; in the 2017-18 season he appeared in 1 game for 3 minutes, and in the 2018-19 season he appeared in 3 games for 3 total minutes with 1 rebound. He was described as part of the group responsible for staying focused and on track in practice, which makes him the kind of glue guy coaches value for culture and scout-team work, but not a player whose on-court résumé suggests rotation-level impact.
