Claire Neely gives Mercer a true interior anchor with size and board work
Claire Neely is a 6-3 center for Mercer who brings old-school paint presence: rebound-first energy, size, and a straightforward inside game that can stabilize a lineup. In the 2025-26 season, her listed college production is still very limited, so the real appeal is projection—she fits as a defensive, physical big who can battle on the glass and occupy space around the rim. If your team wants a rugged interior piece rather than a high-usage scorer, she’s the kind of low-drama, high-contact prospect that can quietly matter.
