Malachi Wright brings heat at linebacker for CCSU
Malachi Wright has been a disruptive, downhill linebacker for Central Connecticut State, flashing playmaking range and a knack for backfield havoc; in 2024, he earned NEC Defensive Player of the Week after posting 7 tackles, 3.5 tackles for loss, a sack, and a hurry against Fordham, and he later added a forced fumble and another sack in CCSU’s comeback win over Robert Morris.
