Luke Wherley enters Jamestown as a 6-foot-5 freshman wing who was ranked No. 24 in Minnesota’s 2025 class and built his profile on efficiency, not empty calories: in the 2023-24 season at Shakopee, he averaged 10.1 points, 4.7 rebounds and 2.2 assists while shooting 70.1% from the field and a school-record 54.0% from three. Coaches described him as a “high-IQ and skilled wing” who helps good teams win, and his prep résumé includes all-conference, all-state and All-American club honors.
