Lenorris Footman’s dual-threat QB profile made him a top Alcorn State leader
Footman stood out at Alcorn State as a mobile, dual-threat quarterback who paired 1,134 passing yards with 378 rushing yards in 2016, adding seven rushing touchdowns and six passing scores while finishing top-15 all-time in school passing yards (2,372). He brought production, composure, and leadership, with Alcorn highlighting him as a classroom-and-field standout. For a team, his fit is strongest if you want a quarterback who can create plays with his legs, manage an offense, and add toughness and experience rather than pure size or arm-strength upside.
