a developmental Youngstown State TE with a redshirt background
Alessi is a Youngstown State tight end whose profile points to a developmental, depth-chart-building role rather than a headline statistical one, with the key note being that he redshirted in 2019 and has not surfaced in the provided stat feed as a major offensive producer. That makes him more of a fit for a team that values blocking, system knowledge, and steady practice habits than immediate box-score impact. Because the available public data is thin, his current upside is best evaluated through camp performance, special-teams value, and how well he translates size, assignment discipline, and reliability into a hard-nosed TE role.
