long, disruptive NDSU edge rusher with proven sack production
Derrek Tuszka is a high-upside North Dakota State edge defender whose calling card is length, burst, and proven pass-rush production; in 2019 he posted 13.5 sacks, 22 tackles for loss, and 48 total tackles, while evaluators described him as a prototypical 4-3 DE with a long frame and huge wingspan. [6][5] He stands out as a relentless, one-gap disruptor who can win with speed and effort, making him a strong fit for teams needing a high-motor edge player rather than a pure power-based run stuffer.
