Colorado State’s speed-triggered DB with special-teams juice
Kevin Nutt Jr. is a high-energy Colorado State defensive back whose calling card is toughness, versatility, and game-breaking special-teams ability — in the 2015 season he delivered a 96-yard kickoff return touchdown, and in the 2017 season he started all 13 games at cornerback with 43 tackles, 3.0 tackles for loss, two interceptions, four pass breakups, and a fumble recovery. He stands out as a physical, dependable playmaker who can flip field position and bring edge, making him a fit for teams that value competitiveness, coverage instincts, and hidden-yardage impact over flash.
