Travis Pugh brings ball-hawking instincts and hard-hitting safety play
Pugh is a safety prospect whose value comes from his aggressive, physical style and proven playmaking résumé, with recruiting data noting 12 interceptions, 308 tackles, and 40 pass breakups alongside 123 tackles, 13 tackles for loss, and five forced fumbles in earlier production. He stands out as a hitter who can trigger downhill and make impact plays rather than just rack up quiet tackles, and Clemson coverage has also highlighted strong classroom habits, including a 3.35 GPA. The main question is availability and consistency, since one profile noted he had been available for only 11 of 27 games over two seasons.
