Live-arm righty with strikeout pop, but still proving the package
Brandon Olivera is a right-handed pitcher for Arizona State who brings real swing-and-miss upside: in the 2024 season at Miami, he logged 23.2 innings with 33 strikeouts against 17 walks, and in 2025 at Miami Dade College he punched out 26 batters in 16.2 innings. He has also been described as a 91-95 mph fastball arm with a developing breaking ball and changeup, which is the kind of raw stuff coaches love to bet on. He did not appear in a game for ASU in 2026, so the big question is whether his command and consistency catch up to the arm talent.
