Caruso brings veteran size, touch, and a bruising inside game to Santa Clara
Guglielmo Caruso is a physical, experienced forward who has flashed efficient scoring and reliable rebounding for Santa Clara, including a 2020-21 season line of 9.3 points, 4.8 rebounds, and 0.9 blocks per game and a strong 66.1% shooting mark in 2019-20. His differentiators are his interior presence, soft finishing around the rim, and ability to help as a secondary scorer rather than a high-usage creator. He missed time earlier in his college career with injury, so health matters, but when he’s right he gives a team toughness, IQ, and dependable frontcourt production.
