Joey Gizmunt brings rare 6-foot-7 upside to Dartmouth’s rotation
In the 2026 season, Joey Gizmunt is a senior right-handed pitcher at Dartmouth with an imposing 6-foot-7, 235-pound frame and a long-term pro-style profile that screams upside. He missed the 2023 season with injury, did not appear in 2025, and entered 2026 as a healthy roster piece rather than a proven stat leader, so the intrigue is more about projection than production. What makes him interesting is the combo of size, athletic background, and developmental runway—he’s the kind of arm a staff bets on for late growth, not just box-score volume.
