Kunta Hester brings steady defensive-back pedigree to Southeastern Louisiana
Kunta Hester is listed by ESPN as a career defensive back for Southeastern Louisiana, but the available public data here is thin on recent on-field production, so the best read is that he’s a depth/competition piece whose value comes from versatility and program fit rather than headline stats. His background at John Ehret and continued presence in the Lions’ system suggest a player with experience and developmental upside. If you’re looking for a proven, statistics-dominant impact defender, the public record doesn’t show that yet; if you want a DB who can compete, learn, and add roster flexibility, he’s worth a closer look.
