Ashton Hall brings proven ball skills and tackling pop to Marshall’s secondary
In the 2009 season at Marshall, Ashton Hall finished with 89 tackles, 7 tackles for loss, 1 interception, and 29 return yards, showing the kind of downhill, high-contact DB presence coaches love[2][5]. He also piled up 66 tackles in 2007 and 48 in 2008, which suggests steady production rather than a one-year flash[2][5]. Marshall’s roster note adds that he earned major snaps in the defensive backfield and flashed impact plays with a career-high 11 tackles, a forced fumble, and two blocked kicks in the same season[3].
