Terran Alford brings old-school frontcourt toughness to Houston
Terran Alford is a 6-foot-1 forward for Houston whose profile points to a rugged, defense-first post presence with rebounding, rim protection, and hustle as the calling cards. In her Houston seasons, she showed flashes of impact with multi-block, multi-steal games and steady board work, plus enough versatility to chip in as a scorer when the offense found her. The big question is health and consistency after a season-ending injury in her Houston stint; if she’s right, she looks like the kind of energy forward coaches love to plug into a physical lineup.
