hometown QB who brings poise, mobility, and a proven backup spark to Marshall
Luke Zban is a Huntington, West Virginia product who earned a scholarship and has shown he can keep Marshall’s offense on schedule when called upon. In the 2021 season, he completed 26 of 39 passes for 249 yards and 2 touchdowns, and added 103 rushing yards, giving him a dual-threat wrinkle that matters in tight games. He’s not a headline-dominating star, but he’s experienced, competitive, and has flashed enough arm talent and functional run game to fit as a steady, local-grown quarterback option.
