a proven Furman edge-setter with All-SoCon pedigree
In the 2004 season, Furman OT Ben Bainbridge earned second-team All-Southern Conference honors and was tied to the SoCon’s Jacobs Blocking Award recognition, a strong signal that he was valued as a rugged, dependable trench piece. He came to Furman as a highly recruited 6-6, 255-pound lineman from Harrison High in Georgia, then developed into a 6-6, 292-pound senior anchor on the left side. If you want a tackle with size, credibility, and a blue-collar reputation in protection and run support, Bainbridge looks like the kind of steady, physical fit coaches love.
