Asher Lucas brings left-handed upside and a crafty, low-drama profile to Charleston
In the 2025 season, Asher Lucas logged limited college innings for College of Charleston, but his track record points to a left-handed arm with real run-prevention potential: in high school he posted a 2.04 ERA with 51 strikeouts over 48 innings in 2021-22. At 5-foot-11, 175 pounds, he’s more finesse than flamethrower, which makes command, tempo, and deception the keys to his value. If your team wants a competitive LHP who can grow into a situational weapon, he’s a name worth watching; the current sample is small, so the upside conversation matters more than the stat line.
