Eirny Erinugha brings size, upside, and defensive bite to Columbia’s frontcourt
In the 2025-26 season, freshman forward Eirny Erinugha has played a small but efficient role for Columbia, averaging 1.2 points and 1.1 rebounds in 5.6 minutes across 11 games while flashing a clean finishing touch and active energy. Her real value is the package: a 6-foot, versatile two-way frame, a reputation as a defender-rebounder, and coach Megan Griffith’s praise for her ability to defend 1-through-5 and thrive in an up-tempo system. She missed her senior year in prep due to injury, but the upside is loud—think high-motor glue piece with room to grow.
