a high-IQ Colgate target with veteran polish and proven all-around value
Connor Wingenroth’s profile is built on versatility and reliability rather than flash: Colgate’s roster bio lists him as a wide receiver with prior production as a multi-role contributor, and ESPN still shows him in the program’s player records with 2 catches for 37 yards and a 18.5-yard average in his latest listed season. He looks like the kind of player a coach trusts on details, effort, and assignments — more “football player” than stat-sheet headliner — which makes him a fit if you value experience, toughness, and scheme flexibility.
