experienced Hornets edge-setter with proven start-worthy reliability
Wyatt Hjelm is a veteran Sacramento State defensive end who has already shown he can handle real snaps, appearing in all 12 games and starting 11 in the 2021 season while posting 17 tackles. His value goes beyond the box score: he brings steady, game-ready experience, dependable edge play, and the kind of stay-on-your-feet, assignment-sound presence coaches love on a defensive line. If you need a mature DL fit who adds toughness and rotational stability more than splashy hype, Hjelm looks like a solid, no-drama football fit.
