Angelo McCullom is a rising interior disruptor with real SEC-level meat on his frame
In the 2025 season, Angelo McCullom showed why Illinois trusted him inside: at 6-foot-2 and about 300 pounds, he produced 19 tackles, 3.0 tackles for loss, 1.5 sacks, two pass breakups and two quarterback hurries while starting twice. He’s the kind of DL who can hold his ground against the run, then flash quickness and leverage as a pocket disruptor — the fun part is that his production came while still developing. Illinois coaches and evaluators viewed him as a productive, high-upside interior piece, and his transfer to Texas A&M signals a player with plug-and-play toughness and room to keep climbing.
