undersized-but-physical Buffalo linebacker with sophomore intrigue
McCarthy is listed by Buffalo at 5-11, 220 pounds and is a sophomore linebacker, but publicly available team pages show no game statistics yet, so the read is more projection than production right now[2][9]. What stands out is the frame: compact, sturdy, and built for leverage, which usually translates to a downhill, contact-loving style at linebacker[2][4]. If you need a high-intensity tackler with room to grow into a defined role, he’s a name worth tracking; if you need proven, stat-backed impact today, the resume is still waiting to be written[1][2].
