a durable, versatile SUU veteran with a proven blue-collar edge
Jeff Janes’ Southern Utah profile is built on toughness and flexibility: in the 2005 season, he logged four tackles in eight games as a reserve defensive end, then became a regular presence for the Thunderbirds as he transitioned into the offensive line and appeared in every game over the next two seasons[1][2]. That kind of adaptability is a real differentiator, and it suggests a player coaches can trust to handle assignments, special roles, and physical work without a lot of drama[1][2]. If you value experience, reliability, and grit over flash, Janes is the kind of fit that quietly improves a roster[1][2].
