Experienced Guard with a Scoring Pulse and Arizona-Hardened Resume
Desmond Ross is a 6-foot-3 guard whose background stands out: Long Beach State listed him as a Top 15 recruit in Arizona in the Class of 2013, and at Ottawa (AZ) he showed usable all-around production, including 8.5 points, 3.3 rebounds and 1.4 assists per game in one recent 28-game season per ScoutBasketball. The appeal is a sturdy, veteran guard with a track record of contributing beyond scoring—he can handle guard duties, rebound his position and bring a competitive edge. If you need a mature backcourt piece who can fit into a rotation and do a little of everything, he’s worth a look.
