Special-teams grinder with a walk-on’s edge
David Falgout’s Rice profile shows a tough, reliable defensive back who earned his snaps the hard way, first as a true freshman walk-on and later as a consistent special-teams contributor. In his Rice career, he played in eight games on special teams and finished with eight tackles, including seven on kickoff coverage, which points to effort, discipline, and trust from the coaching staff. He looks like the kind of player who fits teams that value physicality, instincts, and blue-collar consistency over flash.
